Here are two birds we shot yesterday. It has been warm here and that is really affecting the hunting, but it was a good time regardless.

Pretty pics Dave. Is that what they call an Indian Summer, when it stays warm late in the season? Thats a good lookin dog w/ those ugly guys in the first shot.

Zach the bird on the left is a quail and the other is a pheasant.I agree Butch nice dog but that guy on the right
well it is close to Halloween

I was gonna say TD shot a Rooster ....![]() Sorry guys, never been quail or pheasant hunting, just getting into this crazy stuff, but i just got a little bit of an education . Thats what the forum is for...Thansk QQ

Your right Zach. It does look like a Rooster.
I will get some close ups of the birds next time so you can check them out. The males are really beautiful looking and they are refered to as Roosters. Jr, Finn said to say hello back. We won't be down until December. We will definetly be fishing hard for a couple of months, so get ready little brother. ![]() Butch, It is exactly like Indian summer, but it should have been over by now. The inshore fishing has been poor because nothing is moving yet. It looks like it is going to start chilling down which should get everything on track.
