Default Hungryland this weekend

My buddy Lane was out scouting yesterday for a stand in Hungryland. He is from MI and has never seen a hog before. He had a hog come out about 30ft in front of him.The hog did not see him and started walking down a run away from him.He decided to follow it for awhile. The hog walked next to a palmetto head.Lane saw the spot were the hogs back touched the palmetto.when he got up to the palmetto the spot was waist high on him. He is 6ft so how big was that porkchop?I say well over 300lbs maybe more.I don't want to drag his azz out to the truck. But I will

Heard of a few scouting reports, some say they saw birds others were not so optimistic. Hey if there are birds they will be in STA 5 (Best Duck spot around) from what i am told....I am sure we will see some, its early and a tad HOt though, but all leads say its going to be a good year come Nov.

Very soon I hope. My dad Just came down last week for a sword but the trip got blown out. He said he was waiting on us to come up and hunt. I really need to get up there. What are some good dates to go. The only thing I have is the Pats - Dolphins game coming up. Besides that I could go in the next few weeks.
