Question Hunting question

Does anybody know what the regulations for hunting and killing Bobcats is in Fla? A neigghbor of mine shot one a couple days back, and there has been some debate in the hood as to wether it was legal. Gonna check FWC now, and see what they have to say.

Butch,

I do not think there is a problem killing the bobcats.

DF,
A bud of mine had problems with a bobcat that was eating his chickens. Damn thing ate over 60 of them before he figured it out. He called the game warden for advice on capturing and relocating the bobcat. Game warden said he was wasting his time trying to relocate the cat as it will only return in a few days. Apparently they are VERY teritorial, and will return to the area unless you buy them a ticket on Carnival Cruise Line where they surely will fall overboard and be lost at sea with the rest of the tourist.
The final "un-official and unspoken" recomendation from the warden was to shoot the damn thing.
My personal recomendation: a bullet is cheaper than a cruise line ticket, happy hunting !

I didn't think so either, but one of the single mommys in da hood was all broke up over it. She was saying they are endangered or something. Checked the regs and my neighbor was in the right, and the proud new owner of some bobcat house slippers

not 100% sure, but call the local fwc and get the persons name too. this way if you get asked you can say who told you. it helps like you would not believe.
