Which Gulf Port

Hello this is my first post here, I am wondering which Port on the Gulf Coast is closes to the best Tuna fishing areas? Also which Port in Texas would be the best to fish out of? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hay Shark Tagger currently Southern Cal. looking to relocate to the Gulf, I grew up in Port A but left there in 1972. Just seeing what is available on the gulf, looking for a house with a boat dock if you know of any let me know.

Best tuna fishing is Venice, LA. Best all around is Orange Beach, AL.
