Cobia in the panhandle

I know the East wind has been brutal lately and the water looks almost like chocalate milk, but anybody have word on how the cobes are biting?

went out of destin last saterday and the water was absolutely nasty brown, makes it almost impossible to spot a brown fish in brown water. I did see a few fish land some cobes around us here and there. Went down the east side

I fish out of Panama City Beach & we had filthy brown water for almost the whole month of April... I went ~a dozen+ times & we caught a total of ~15 fish this season-(:I think I caught ~7 myself & I got to gaff the others

. My best day was Sat 4/25 & we fished all the way to Destin so we could fish cleaner water & we caught 5 that day... Most of our fish this year were in the ~25-30lb range & the biggest fish was ~45lbs... I think we had good numbers of fish this year, but we just couldn't see them b/c of the dirty water... I did eat a lot of Cobia this April
