Default Sweat Ride

After a year of hearing about the rebuild of the new Tackle Engineer Dusky 29', I finally got a chance to see it in action. Man, it is sweet. Stu. you really did a great job on that boat. The electronics are sick and the it rides like a dream.. the only problem that I had with it is my rods were in the car and we should have taken them. Great job and I look forward to spending great times with good friend fishing it. (Nov. 14 Hint Hint) Post some more pics.

Steve,
At 3300 rpm the cruising speed was 22.7 knots. I need to put another 2 inches pitch in the wheels cause at WOT. I can bump the governors at 4100 running 29.9 knots. I should not turn more than 3900rpm to 3950 loaded at wot. Should cruise between 24 and 25 knots at 33-3400 rpm. Only 21 gallons fuel burned when i retopped the tanks of running for over 41 nautical miles of cruising plus lots of testing and some bay runs . No complaints on my end !! Switching to 4 bladed federals was a good move and nothing slips.

TE, Congratulations on the "new" boat. I'm done with all that travel
and I'm ready to fish (that is why it will blow 25 Knots from the NE
for awhile). cheers, O

Nice Stuart! All that work and aggravation is paying off now. Looking forward to seeing it on the water. Good luck with it!
