I hog hunt private land (groves, sugar cane fields) out in Clewiston. I hunt with some real good dogs. I have 1 bluetick strike dog that can find and catch her own hog; 1 Black Mouth Cur who will catch, but he is still young. My buddy (who does it for a living) has some dogs that are unreal. We usually catch em, tie em up, and out them in a pen. My buddy sells them to hunitng clubs. If you know of anyone looking for some good hunting dogs, let me know.

Did you hunt archery in JW Corbett? There were some big deer taken out there. I went out one day and saw a couple of does. I can't wait for the first 9 days of general gun. We will be out there. You can count on the swords biting that week.

Where do you you hunt for ducks? STAs? I have a 16' jon boat with a mud motor, I just built.

Sweet so I can post how many ducks I missed in that section.......Early teal season opens this weekend, but its gonna be a hot one.

We hunt the STA's mainly for ducks...but here are other areas that you dont need a permit for

PS....no motors are allowed in the STAs

I duck hunt in the sta's ,LOX,Okee and St.johns area east of the stick marsh.That area is airboat only and charter a guy up that way.I will be in hungryland this week end Zack looking for deer and hogs.It is my archery quota hunt so no ducks for me this weekend.I have the first weekend quota gun for dupius this year.

They have got 3 or 4 bucks out of hungryland in the first 2 weekends and about 16 hogs.One of the deer was a nice 8pt that went 150lb thats a monster for FL deer.

Yep I hunt there too during gg. Just down indiantown rd. for me.

QQ,

We got a 5x5 bull last week with the bow. Took 10 hrs to get him to camp, that's with the horses. Then another 5 miles to the truck. I guess we know how to have fun huh!
