Miami Swordfish Tournament

September 15-18, 2005



We are pleased to announce the dates for the Miami Swordfish Tournament; the Miami tournament will be held out of The Miami Beach Marina and will be a qualifying event for both the “Rolex/IGFA Offshore Invitational Championship” and the “World Billfish Series Grand Championship.”



As a qualifying event, each angler will receive a one-year membership in IGFA and WBS. The winner of each event will be invited along with their team to compete in the Rolex/IGFA Championship Circuit and the World Billfish Series Grand Championship.



SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR MIAMI

FISHING HOURS Friday and Saturday night 6:30p.m.to 2:30a.m.

Thursday, September 15 6:00-7:00 pm. Angler's meeting at Monty’s Raw Bar.

One member from each participating boat must attend.

7:00-8:00 Welcome Dinner and Reception.



Friday, September 16 4:30-6:30pm One member form each boat must pickup

nightly release shirts from the tournament committee located

at Miami Beach Marina.

6:30pm First night of fishing. Lines in the water.



Saturday, September 17 2:30a.m. Lines out of the water.

4:30-6:30pm One member form each boat must pickup

nightly release shirts from the tournament committee located

at Miami Beach Marina.

6:30pm Second night of fishing. Lines in the water.



Sunday, September 18 2:30a.m. Lines out of the water.



Late afternoon Awards Ceremony and luncheon. Live Auction and raffle



Winners will receive over $30,000.00, in cash and prizes. *50 boat minimum



The cost is $1000.00 per boat and that is for 4 anglers.
