Default Mike Rowe did a Dirty Job at Global Fish Mounts in Pompano

This week is shark week on the Discovery Channel. It just so happened that I saw an episode of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe.

It was a good episode because he had a dirty job to create a mounted fish mold of a Bull Shark. This was done at Global Fish Mounts situated just off of Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach. It particularly called my attention because I pass the Global Fish Mount factory most everyday on my commute to work. It was fun to see a dirty job done right around here in Pompano Beach.

Check it out if you want to see a real dirty job.

I don't understand the comment Doug. Many of the taxidermy shops buy their blanks from Grays. So if Global does...good for them.

But none of them can beat Global's prices so that's why I refer people to Global. Their work has been timely and everyone has been happy with the end result.

I'm sure King does good work as well. Where do they buy their blanks from?

The best 2 mounts in my house came from Global. I think King gets some of their molds from Gray? I looked at a couple of mounts before going with Globals and none compared with price or quality.

You must be getting a percentage from them.

Global doesn't pay for referrals so I don't get a dime from them. And the mounts I have personally purchased... Guess what?? It was the same price as if you would have purchased it.

$7.95 an inch and within 30 days. As much as people (other taxidermy shops) want to knock them... they are putting out great mounts and spreading the word that you don't need to kill a fish to have a mount. That was the message in the Mike Rowe show and when you watch the Reel Adventure's show this satuday, the conservation message will surely be what the show is all about.

So like them or hate them... it's up to you. But don't think for a second that Global pays for referrals. Or if you know they do pay out, please provide that info as they will owe me money and I'll split it with you
