hey,
The same thing happened to a guy i know but they ransacked his boat not his house. We found the rods though you got to check ebay, craigslist, and anyother type of marine or fishing related sales online. i would even take your post off here and look at the marine flea market just in case...not to offend any fourum members but its a gret place to sell thigns we dont use. If you find the stuff online dont go after them yourself get in touch with the police and they will handle it accordingly. good luck man ill keep my eyes out.

Hey Butch just read your post ... sorry to hear it ... hope they get them ... but have to agree ... check e-bay and maybe any pawn shops in your area ... but it sounds like someone that likes fishing with all the stuff they got ... it must have taken a lot of time to get all the gear out ... no one seen anything in your area?

Butch:

Sorry about your loss.

Chances of finding the dirtbags are slim. Suggest you only spend a short amount of energy chasing them and move on to replacing it.

I had all of my tools taken 3 times in my life and never got any results from police or insurance company.

Tell all your friends and acquaintences not to buy stolen goods. It may eventually slow the thefts, but I doubt it.

It will hurt for a long time.

Sorry for the grim report,

Capt. Art
