Ultimate Guilt Trip

Went out yesterday and left my daughter behind since we have burning the candle at both ends with the fishing marathon we have been on with Lights Out, needless to say she was a bit

all day. Gave her a kiss and said goodbye and on the way to the ramp I get this. Anyone that takes their kids fishing should enjoy the reading

Father-Daughter Time

Touching the slimy squid,

With such a disgusted look

Trying not to let Daddy help

her put it on the hook.

He waits for her to patiently.

She looks to him and says,

"Daddy won't you help me?"

But she begs and pleads for time,

to go out to fishing

Where she can watch a line.

Her eyes light up, she jumps around

When the line is screaming loud.

He watches her reel the "big one" in

And then he starts to wonder.

"Will she always want me to be there,

to help her rig a squid?"

His answer lies within a smile,

within the childish look.

The look that tells her daddy

he's her hero and much more.

He's the one who taught her

about the Great Outdoors.

They sit and talk while on the boat

And set their lines again.

He will always be her "fishing bud".

He will always be her friend.

OK Dan you suck now I am trying to explain to my coworkers why tears are running down my face.

Last night while I was putting my daughter to sleep.I asked if she said her prayers today.She then gets out of bed kneels down next to me and say god I wish (thats how she prays)that daddy and me can fish every day forever.Talk about tugging at the heart strings.
