Default Dacron Loops

A few guys have mentioned they use dacron loops for assorted reasons on their lines.

Can anyone give a good lesson on making them?
what is the smallest line they can be used on, i.e. 20# 50# etc?

I think they would fit really well for my riggers as well as my sword rods.

Thanks

It is easier to just use heavy wax line for loops.Just whip either ends leaving desired length in middle for loop.

Problem is, I've had lines cut by the wax line, no matter how I tied it.
Just want to try with somthing less risky.

Wax line.

I never had a cut off becuase of it??? kock on wood. I would think dacron would be a better chance for cut off or slipping.

Lott'sa time I'll just use the rubber band method.

If you learn a good dacron techique teach me it!

I have used both dacron and wax. I find the dacron works great and lasts longer..

How do you do it?

1) Slide the dacron all the way up the line to your depth mark
2) Then Wax line the fraid ends down and glue. Like a Wind on leader.

thats the only way I could see it being done.

Edited
Never mind I just read Quacks post.

Gudebrod used to enclose a "How to Booklet" along with their line.

I will try to round one up.
