64 inch pumpkin

My brother in law was down for the weekend and we had this critter come in the back yard measured out 64 inches from lower jaw to tip of tail. Anyone that trys this at home watch out for the tail they can swing it very hard

It was released unharmed to be caught another day

A face only a mother could love

That Iguana looks dog tame, usually the ones that size can tear you up with their claws and teeth and the tail.

When my parents moved down from NY, they thought that they were cute.

Now they cant stand them- they eat all of the flowering plants & leave huge turds all over my dock.

No crazier than billing a green Sword

Growing up fishing the glades I have a bit of experience holding large reptiles plus the few drinks I had with my Uncle Jack always gets the stupid in me going

It was very calm once I had a hold on it, actually froze up and played possum

It was going nuts right up to the point I had a good hold on it. Did this every time I picked it up. When we let it go I tried to get it to run off the top of the fence so the dogs you not eat it, that was not a very good idea, it had no fear of us now and that is when it tried tail whipping me and one of my daughters when we got too close
