Darkside Of The Moon II – October 23, 2004

Full Moon Adventures, Inc. put on another great tournament. The captains party was held again at Bonefish Macs and many additional anglers joined the tournament despite the weather forecast. There is not a sole that can predict the weather, and this time was no exception. The forecast called for NE winds and big swells, but the anglers suited up and busted out late Saturday afternoon.

The committee boat got on the radio and called lines in and the anglers went to work. A few fish were caught early and most anglers reported a good bite. Around 10:30, Double D Charters put a 67 inch swordfish in the boat, which ended up securing the victory for them. Drew and Vinnie were working the committee boat and keeping in touch with the anglers just in case safety ever became an issue.

The final results were as follows:

1st Place - Double D - 172lbs.
2nd Place - Killer Buzz - 144 lbs.
3rd Place - Chips Ahoy - 125 lbs.

Congratulations to all winners and look for the 2005 dates to come out soon. The Darkside of the Moon Tournament is the largest Swordfishing tournament in the world. We look forward to seeing all of you next year.
