Would the squid laying in the cooler with the snag hook be considered dirty pool ??

Any Thoughts ?? come on Jr.

Only dirty pool in the eyes of the IGFA. I don't use them but as far as I know there is nothing illegal about a treble hook.

Dirty pool in my eyes too along with the IGFA I guess, Far as Illegal I guess it is a grey area, I know I read somewhere 2 hooks max not 3.
Its hard enough to dig a single hook out of the thoat of a pup and get him back in the water in time with little damage, let alone diggin out a trebble.

:stup and the other stupid above him  :roflmao:
There is nothing wrong with the treble. Personally, I wouldn't use them because I would rather have one nice size solid hookset instead of two hangin' on for the ride. :bom: :-s
But, the boys are crazy and they want as many hooks in its mouth as they can get
I wouldn't consider it "dirty pool" at all. Like Capt. Jim said, I don't see it being illegal so have at it, if that's what you are going to rig baits with and want to be able to look at and feel badass with on the way out there then have a good time.
I still like to look in the box and see those sexy squid with the black owner hooks in them

I don't really think that they should be used, but people will if they can. I still don't think that you would have such a solid hookset with the trebles as you can with one solid hook though. :???: :???: :???:

It's all up to the user, the boy at the dock doesn't direct and teach the guy that's going out there. If he has success with it and likes them then it is his choice on whether or not to use them.

Capt. Ken,

I totally agree with all you said. I was merely stating that treble hooks are not illegal, otherwise, every plug on the market would be illegal to use.
