Correct stats for the FK quoted from the Stuart News.
!st. 119 lbs. Head first II
2nd. 65 lbs. Tropical Disturbance
3rd. 64 lbs. Locals Only

Most releases:
1st. Two. Sight-Sea-Er
2nd. Two. Finest Kind
3rd. One. Locals Only

The Mako caught caught on the Locals Only weighted in at 185.

Congratulations to all the teams that fished Looks like it was a slow soggy night

There was plenty of rain. Only 5 fish weighed, and I think 7 release reports. Fishing was slow.

Team Emijess report... We ran a 5-line spread, with a 6th waaaay down, and moved 5-6 times during the night. Only had 2 brownies to show, and some saw-toothed baits from squid attacks. Not one slashed bait.

Oh well. Swordlords tournament is on August 13th. South drift, yey!

Yup thats me in the Orange Grundens.....boy did the rest of the crew wished they had grundens and not cheap rain gear..lol

Out fish nailed the 200 bait in pouring rain then charged the light then went down for a tug o war...he came up with another smaller fish following, but we did not mess with it since we wanted the bigger one in the boat.

We had a decent night going 2 for 3 on bites, releasing a small, maybe legal size fish.

Congrats Crew of the Headfist!

We set out a sweet spread of livies & squid- not a touch.

Funny how good the "Nothing Drift" was on Thurs, then come to almost a screeching halt two days later.

DS - why not on this site? I'm too lazy and have sipped on a few too many to click on the other site.
Also, congrats to team Headfirst. You guys deserve it.

A story for the ages.
I Swordfished twice before this Tourney and of coarse had no intention of being in it. At the last minute Beerman, Headfirst and RodWorks voted us (me and Dan) in. (They needed the money).
So on my third trip (which was a total trip) I caught my first Sword (the little one) - and was on a tournament winning team.

True Swordfish and party professionals.
Those guys are great.
