I shot a 12 gauge in New Jersey and shoot a few down here, I prefer the .223 or .243 for the catfish though. That or a 12 gauge with a slug so you make sure the meat isnt ruined

You guys are sellouts...

I thought it was a good idea and a chance to really learn a new style and trend... And when I make the forum you all just ignore it

Thank you Quack Quack for rising above

I like the Star rods for walking catfish, but the trick is in the bait, I prefer the Panama strip laced with catnip if I am using dead bait othewise, like I said some place else, bridal rigged mice with the wiskers cut off and dyed green on an offset 12/0. We were talking about big Catfish, Right? :high

That reminds me of an email I saw a while back of people in some other country holding a catfish that was about 4 times the size of me, literally

Hey, Im looking for advice, Im going up to New jersey tonight and want to know what to bring if I see a catfish j-walkin on the side of the road. I like the 12 gauge idea but im not sure, I dont think I want something that harsh. After all, I don't want to ruin the meat. :???:

I checked out the votes and there was only one submitted, you guys are no help today....

I think the trip may damage my more then 6.40 average posts per day but o well right.
