Default In search of bent buts

My friend has two star 80 class rods, he just purchased a 130 class on ebay believe it or not new for 102.50. It is new in the store for 599.00. Great deal. Does anyone have any connection to find bent buts only? Help a bro out....thanks.

What you are looking for is an Aftco UB-6 Aluminum Bent butt for the 130. That butt will cost more than you payed for the rod but its what you need. For the 80's, you will need the UB-4 model.

http://shop.mudhole.com/s.nl/sc.2/ca...t.A/id.4923/.f

those are the aftco aluminum butts. The silver are the cheapest and they go up from there. If the builder built the rods right, the 130 will have a UB6 size ferrule and the 80's will have a UB4 size. When you buy the butt it will come with a ferrule, so you'll have some extras, just screw it on and your ready to roll.

ps...i'll take the extra ferrules if you discard them

also, if you want to go cheaper get hte American Tackle brand, same fit and all, i dont even know if there is a difference butt i prefer Aftco.
