Default How many boats have you owned?

Include boats you/your family has/have owned in your life. Only real boats including dingies any size. (Jet skis/wind surfers are not boats)

I've had 15. All bring great times to mind except 1 brought all hardache .

1 sailfish
1 JY 15 sail boat
1 Grumman 16' Bass boat
1 Weldcraft 17' Bass boat
1 Hunter 30 sail boat
1 Custom Canaveral sport fisher
1 Paddle boat
1 Avon
1 Cobalt 21 ski boat
1 StarCraft 17 ski boat (Nailed 1st girl friend in it.)
1 Glass Master 17 ski boat
1 Portaboat 12'
1 Sea Ray 305 30'
2 allum. Row boats (When I was a child with little money)

Still own 8 of them, I guess I'm a junk collector.

31' Contender

The first boat I owned was the Aquasport...what a piece of shite I don't think that boat could be any more wet if you turned it upside down.
No regrets on the Corn tenders...reliable and fast fish killa's.

Cono, just like a similar thread on reels, a lot of you guys have had a lot of nice boats, especially Certifable.

I am thinking this thread is for boats either we've owned or, when younger, parents owned, not boats Uncle Pepe or cousin Rico owned.

Here goes...

Formula 23'
Sears inflatable 12' with engine bracket
Sears aluminum V-bottom 12'
Oceanic 21'
Contender 25'

High tides!!!

I've personally owned 16 boats that I can remember. None were my parents or Uncle and Aunt, Frick and Frack!

I've owned 3 WorldCats in the last 10 years, a 27 and two 33's. I doubt seriously that I will ever go back to a V-hull in a CC type.

I owned a 256 Dusky prior to the WorldCats and it was a good ride but killed my knees to fish 3 days in a row. I guess that's more of a V-hull thing, though!

Just 1... 21' Sailfish CC... and I'm not likely to trade it anytime soon.

I keep my large ticket items for as long as possible. I don't like leases or care about having a "new" model every year. I still live in my first home. (13 years now) I've only owned 4 cars in 17 years. First 2 were used and I drove 'em 'til they cost too much fix. 3rd was new, and I drove it hard for 7 years 'til the engine was on it's way out for the second time, and not under warranty. Still in my 4th for 5 years now.
