Mooring Whips...

Have an opportunity to keep my boat on the water but I would need to get mooring whips.

Is there a particular brand that is better than other or does anybody have any that they dont need?

I forgot the name But they have cast allum. Floresant orange bases. I have 2 sets and my friend has 1. 5-8 years so far no problems. Nothing better, Whips work great! Just secure your boat properly with spring lines. Whips need spring lines, they do nothing for the foward and back motion.

Stay away from the is a cheaper make that has a plastic/fiberglass base.

Oh and it's always funny to see people grab them like a railing to balance themselfs to get into the boat. Then Splash!!!

P.S. I personaly have them on my 21 foot ski boat and my 16ft Bass boat. Not sure how they work on bigger boats.

depends on the size of the boat. I have ones in boynton that i no longer use. they would be suitable for boats up to about 25 ft. Let me know. They are dolphin mooring whips with metal bases.
