Default 5/24 sat off shore run

Well , I kept thinking I do not get out far enough to find the big fish, so me and 2 friends got in water 5:00 am bait fished for a couple dozen pilchards, and ran out and out and out. We were between 30 /35 miles out and could not find anything solid, we found a couple promissing looking spots , but could not troll up anything tried for quite some time then started running back in in southern pattern found a great looking spot at about 25 off and amazinly after trolling it for only a few minute 3 other boats found me and it seemed like a nascar event. How in the world with all that ocean these clowns manage to do this ?
well stiil nothing so it was time to try something new and we came in to 180 fet outside boca and drifted the live bait , lost two great size kings, caught a monster bonita and some big remoras, still was not able to get any lunch, the wind changed up and it went to crap have a few live pilchards left so we trolled into lake boca and clead up a few barracuda to use as shark bait later. went 5 for 5 on the cudas in lake boca was the most fun other than the bonita on my spinning rod made for a fun time at least .

Well weather is looking pretty ctrappy for monday so I will have to weight for another day.

Wow I looked at the buoy report and it said 5 foot seas so I stayed home. I never get sick but I hate the rough seas unless trolling.

I wonder the same thing. This happens much more frequently in Miami then New Jersey.

The'll run right up to you or in front of your path and then start trolling right on top of you. I get so pissed, It seams to me to be just a lack of common cudious(spell check error curdiusy) in all of Florida.

I saw the Episode on Alaska gill net fishing. You guys nearly run over each other to get your nets out. So I guess a little nascar rubbing when trolling that would be normal for you.

I don't net fish. I guide in rivers and lakes in SW Alaska. We use rod and reel--usually of the fly type. I drive 16' flat bottom boats with jet outboards that can run in 4" of water.
