Saturday while I was trolling of boca inlet, I noticed a charter boat coming across my path so I slowed my boat and allowed him clear pass as I could see he also was trolling , but oddly enough when the captin cleared the fron of my boat he turned and came directly beside me in turn also trolled all his lines directly over my boat and fouled my props with his line. I tried hailing this captin and give him some friendly advice. There is no doubt he must have been drunk. I am a bit new to the fishing game but I fish out there every chance I get and this charter captin better look out next time as I will not be so nice as to just cut his lines I may just spin around and make him look a fool in front of his charter.
Anyone friends with this guy out of lighthouse point ? I suggest a charter school so maybe they can teach him how to drive. "Crowd pleaser " I know were you live, give everyone respect |

No captain that I know will knowingly (and soberly) foul his lines in somebody else's wheel. That costs him money too. Only once did I, as a deck hand, put one of my lines in somebody else's wheel. The guy was being a total douchebag, running right behind our boat repeatedly. I put an entire 320GTI's worth of 30# Ande into his wheel.

Look like some young deck hand driving. I assume he did know any better or he just could have been a ass.

hey I may be a rookie to them since I do not have a 32 cabo, but I offer them respect and slowed allowing him to pass clean, I have a set zig zag pattern I troll north out of hillsboro inlet , very good to me for kings. I see the charter guys running the same patterns often. I always give them respect as I understand they are trying to make money and keep happy customers.
