Seventy-three men sailed up from the San Francisco Bay
Rolled off of their ship, and here's what they had to say
"We're callin' everyone to ride along to another shore
We can laugh our lives away and be free once more"

But no one heard them callin', no one came at all
'Cause they were too busy watchin' those old raindrops fall
As a storm was blowin' out on the peaceful sea
Seventy-three men sailed off to history

Ride, captain ride upon your mystery ship
Be amazed at the friends you have here on your trip
Ride captain ride upon your mystery ship
On your way to a world that others might have missed

One soft infested summer me and terry became friends
Trying in vain to breathe the fire we was born in
Catching rides to the outskirts tying faith between our teeth
Sleeping in that old abandoned beach house getting wasted in the heat
And hiding on the backstreets, hiding on the backstreets
With a love so hard and filled with defeat
Running for our lives at night on them backstreets

Default Oldie but Goodie

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive
They may find

In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do, or say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes
You won't find a thing to do
Nobody's gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms are hanging limp at your sides
Your legs not nothing to do
Some machine is doing that for you

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife
You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long black tube

In the year 7510
If God's a-comin' he ought to make it by then
Maybe he'll look around himself and say
Guess it's time for the Judgement day

In the year 8510
God's gonna shake his mighty head
He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been
Or tear it down and start again

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wondering if man's gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing

Now it's been 10,000 years
Man has cried a billion tears
For what he never knew
Now man's reign is through
But through the eternal night
The twinkling of starlight
So very far away
Maybe it's only yesterday

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive
They may find

In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do or say
Is in the pill you took today ....(fading

I changed some lyrics.

Got out of town on a boat goin' to the Bahama islands.
Sailing a reach before a followin' sea.

She was makin' for the tuna on the outside,
And the downhill run to Blue Marlin cove.

Off the wind on this heading lies Issacs.
We got thirty four feet of'a waterline.
Nicely making way.

In a noisy bar in Lucaya I tried to call you.
But on a midnight watch I realized
Why twice I ran away.

Chorus

Think about how many fish I have caughtn
Spirits are using me larger voices callin'.
What heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten.

I have been around the world,
Lookin' for that monster fish,
Who knows drags can be burnt.
And you know they will.

When you see the flocks of birds for the first time
You understand now why you came this way.
'Cause the tuna you might be runnin' from is so small.
But it's as big as the promise - The promise of a giant bluefin.

So I'm sailing for tomorrow - My dreams are a dyin'.
And my love for tuna is an anchor tied to you - Tied with a silver braid.

I have my ship and all her flags are a flyin'
She is all that I have left - And fishing is her name.

Chorus

Think about how many fish I have caughtn
Spirits are using me larger voices callin'.
What heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten

Did you hear about the dyslectic Eric Clapton fan?
He thought Eric Clapton was dog.

The most tasteless Rock & Roll joke:

What was Eric Clapton's biggest inspiration?

His bouncing baby boy....

This song is dedicated to you Eric:

Too much time on my hands, it's ticking away with my sanity
I've got too much time on my hands, it's hard to believe such a calamity
I've got too much time on my hands and it's ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands

I never did get a chance to see them...the vinyl album for PT did not have a label on the b-side...they had laser etched the entire side with a detail of the cover art...you could see it almost holographically when the record was tilted at an angle.

Unfortunately I am still layed up with a blown powerhead...got a guy lined up to get me going again, but just waiting on some funds to get it done..probably a couple weeks yet. Also waiting on my Mrs. to 'pop' with kid number 2....we are due anyday now, so fishing is out for a little while.

If this is a regular "outing" I'll definitely want to go next time!

but no you cant turn me round
and if a house gets in my way baby

And up until now I think the winner is "Quack Quack" with Let It Be but then that might be one of the greatest songs ever so it's an easy pick..
