Cougar - Definition for women?

I'm out of touch with slang, or maybe it's a west cost thing. I'm not totaly sure what it means when a women is a "cougar". I was Snow Skiing and These 2 younger guys on the chairlift where talking about "Cougar Hunting"?

Doing a internet search - I think its a very good looking older women. Anyone actualy know the slang definition?

It is a general term for older woman looking for younger guys.I have some single friends around 30 or so that like cougars.But it is the cougars that do the hunting not the other way around.30 min in a cougar bar then you are on your way home

no strings just fun for the night.I was in Bradleys last Sat night and saw some cougars in there that left with some young ones.
