Default Great December Fishing!!!!

Great Fishing

December fishing has never been SO GOOD!

The Sailfish are everywhere. On our first day back fishing out of the boat yard, we caught and released 7 Sailfish and lost 4 others. We also caught some Mahi-mahi (Dolphin fish) and a Wahoo.

This week the Sailfish are all over the surface chasing small sardines. We have been able to catch a few, but they just want those sardines and won’t bite anything else.

We did have another day with 3 Sails and over a dozen gaffer Mahi-mahi.

On Saturday night 12/10/05 we fished the Darkside Swordfish Tournament. We caught one out of six bites. The Tournament overall had over 50 boats and over 80 fish caught with the largest being 301 lbs. What a great night of fishing for everyone. The weather was great with no wind and calm seas.

The King Mackerel are biting on the reefs and even the Spanish Mackerel are thick along the beaches. Snappers and Grouper are biting over the wrecks and reefs.

The wrecks have plenty of Amberjacks on them and there always a few Bull Sharks around.

All we need are a few people to come on down and enjoy the weather and the fishing.

Catch-em-up,

Captain Kunta
