Spicy Swordfish
Recipe by: The Clever Cleaver Brothers Web produced by: Neil Relyea 9/28/04 11:51:38 AM Yields 4 to 6 portions You need: 2 pounds tri-tip steak strips Marinade 2 cups Diet Coke 3 oz. Bacardi Rum 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon Cholula® Hot Sauce 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper 1. In a bowl, combine the marinade ingredients. 2. Place the tri tip steaks in a zipper-lock gallon bag. Pour in the marinade and seal. Place in the refrigerator a minimum of 3 hours, overnight is preferred. 3. Pre-heat the grill to medium. Place on the tri tip steaks and grill for approximately 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer to confirm the level of doneness. Let the tri tip steaks rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy with an ice cold Bacardi & Coke (adults of legal drinking age).
