Gents:
A year ago, I started a thread on the five favorite fish folks like to eat. It's really been fun and interesting to read your feedback. I have noted many shared favorites such as wahoo, yellowfin tuna, cobia, tripletail and pink snapper to name a few. Now, I am interested in learning the five fish you least like to eat. I will start with my five. 1) Seatrout (too mushy, don't like the texture) 2) mullet 3) kingfish (only like smoked) 4) bluefish 5) black drum * these to me are fish that all the breading and deep fryers in the world can't save. Dishonorable mention also includes blue runners and tilapia. Tight lines. ![]() Thanks. Juani |

Good topic...
1) Bluefish 2) Spanish Mack 3) Kingfish Don't mind the rest of the species that are rated as good eating I suppose.

I think most of my dislikes come from fresh water
1) Bass...too muddy tasting 2) Trout...not enough meat 3) Catfish...it's ok fried in cornmeal, bit shy away from it if there's a choice 4) Smelt....but never had really fresh...they may be ok 5) oddly, Spiny Lobster...I love to catch them and cook them...but maybe I am just burnt out on eating them...once a year is about all I do anymore.

Hard to list the fish you dislike in order.....so, lets list the ones we like:
1- Yelloweye Snapper (panko fried) 2- Silky Snapper (panko fried) 3- Black Snapper (panko fried) 4- Yellowfin Tuna (fresh/raw) 5- Grouper (Gag/Black/yellowfin..the Mystics get a bit rubbery) (Blackened) 6- Wahoo (fresh/raw) 7- Swordfish (Grilled w/ lemon butter) Dam....I'm startin to drool.

1. ICW Catfish
2. Big Bonitas 3. Jack Crevalle 4. Lizardfish 5. Florida Gar *DISCLAIMER* I have not had any of the above fish, and wouldn't suggest to anyone. I am not liable if anyone is stupid enough to eat a catfish from the ICW.
