Default Nice Mahi caught yesterday!

We were about 12 miles out of PE. Put up a nice fight for about 30 mins. No scale, so we didnt get a weight, but I would guess 25-30lbs. right?
I'm Leo btw, been a member for a while, first time posting.

Wow! Gorgeous fish. When I was down there most of the dorado we pulled in were smaller. Unfortunately there were lots of local longliners to contend with...

Yeah, we were trolling. Switched from lures to ballyhoo on the outriggers. 20 minutes later...BAM! We watched him come right past the boat at first, glad he took the bait :-)

Not off Fort Lauderdale...longlining is prohibited from the Florida Straits.

I'd even give that fish a few pounds over 30.

Well, the fat guy in the back probably weighs 220-230, but that focker in the front will go 200. Oh, you meant the fish.....
