we have been doing great when we spot the schools of dolphins by seeing diving birds. we run in front of the school and slack out a skipping naked ballyhoo(as in no skirt) and then we also run a ballyhoo with a skirt in front of it when they are running all over the place so u can move faster and get in front of them when they start feeding again with out tearing up your ballyhoo.

You need to match the hatch for the best bait. Not sure where "Here" is ?
But, Ballyhoo is the most popular bait of choice. It realy doesn't matter a whole lot when fishing for Dolphin....those things are swimming garbage disposals..they eat everything...including each other

hey just let me know if your coming down i will take u out if u dont mine getting pounded around and getting wet in a 18 foot grady white. she can handel a big sea and i test it all the time but she still is on 18 lol. about dolphin being garbage conteners it is true if u find them first and they are feeding but some times we have found them after some people and they have broke some off and it makes it realll hard to bite and we have to down size to 20 pound test spinners and naked ballyhoos.

Here is the venice area and getting poundeed in a boat is the only way to relieve stress all the worlds problems disappear while getting your butt kicked in a boat wile reeling in a fish, and all your friends are rolled up sick as dogs. Thats when you can drink their beer. Life is good
