dolphin in key largo?

im going down to the keys this weekend and wanted to do some fishing with the family. were staying at ocean reef yacht club. anyways, wanted to know how the dolphin fishing is down there? any info would be appreciated thanx

Been down here since Saturday, seas all of 6-8 all week and still blowing hard. Better plan on backcountry fishing.

thanks. dam that sucks. do you know if its supposed to lay down? were in a 50 ft post so cant really ack****ry uless i get a guide or rent a boat

If you are on a 50 footer, go for it. It may roll some but you can do it. Bait is everywhere. Kings running deep, small dolphin scattered and some tuna on the humps.

I was in Marathon for 4 days last week and heading back down tonight. Weather was bad most of last week like Krisis7 said. Buoyweather says that it is going to start laying down on Sat, better Sun & Mon

Tues. -Flat calm today- Lots of tuna @ Isla hump and got 22 Dolphin yesterday.. Yellow tail on the reef very spotty but pretty good size. Hope this helps---AuSUM
