I am new to deep dropping. I believe I have the gear (Kristal 621 on a Hydra Sports 3300VX, decent electronics, etc) but so far have been unable to find fish. I am looking for a guide on my boat to help me find deep water grouper, tiles, queens, etc.

I would read some of the old threads on deep dropping ... that will help you .. also are you using a light when deep dropping .. (water activated strobe) if fishing for tiles make sure one of your hooks are very close to the bottom ... 6in to 12in .... for groupers I like to start at 380 and work out .to deeper water ..tiles start at 600ft and work out also to deeper water .. if you get hits mark it all on your gps ... soon you will see a pattern that`s how I have done it ..
