Tuna 100 Fathom Fishing Club meeting Thursday Feb 15th 7pm

The 100 Fathom Fishing Club is having it's monthly meeting next Thursday February 15th, 7pm til 9pm or so, in Port St Lucie, Florida. Recreational swordfishermen and deepdroppers are invited to attend, admittance is free. The guest speaker will be John Reed of the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution. Mr. Reed is the world's foremost scientist dealing with deepwater Oculina and Lophelia corals found off our Florida shores.

The 100FFC is a fishing club primarily focused on deepwater recreational swordfishing & deepdropping. Meetings usually consist of informal gatherings where diverse topics such as rigging techniques, new equipment, etc are covered. Space is limited so reservations will be required. Please respond via email; directions to the meeting will be provided to you at that time.

ANOTHER BENEFIT TO 100FFC MEMBERSHIP - if you join 100FFC AND attend next Thursday night, you will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the RFA. Regular RFA memberships are $35, so that alone is worth the FREE 100FFC membership.

Hey catch, you think John Reed is goin to bring any photos of the deepwater reefs? Heard he's got movies of huge AJ's, Gags and Scamps.

Gaitor/Jim and MiamuhAngler/Willi - glad y'all are coming. Looking forward to seeing you. Jim, don't forget, I have the red & black plastic batt clip covers to your electric rig. I found 'em on my boat from your last trip.

Poolman/Rich - I have spoken with John and yes, he's bringing more of the slides and video he has of the bottom structure and massive fish of the Oculina Bank.

anyone planning on attending must email me at CatchAllFL@adelphia.net and put "100FFC" in the subject line. Space is limited so rezzies are necessary.
