Default pictures of a calm day deep drop

This was just off the coast about 1 miles west of PR. This day we just caught 5 small queens and a lot of undersized silks, which by law, I have to release (even dead). They need to be 16 inch to keep, which I think is crazy.

Here I am letting the line down. This is about 1000 feet here.. and yes, it is dead calm..

This is the catch:

This is the ramp (yes, its on the beach, and its quite a technique to get the boat on the trailer without getting the Bronco to become a submarine). This is the price to pay if you want to fish in remote areas with crappy facilities!

Thumbs up True grit

Beautiful day! Shows that true fishing desire, when you overcome those kinds of obstacles just to get on the water. Thanks for the report and especially the pics of the " boat Ramp". Way to get after em

Nice catch ... just wish it was like that here in Miami.. had to battle with 3-5 ft sea`s ... did manage to get two rosies and a 15lbs golden tile ..hell I would use those under size silkies for bait ... why let them go to waste....willi

Drop where few fisherman have gone before

Good idea! Ill try using them for bait more often.. I did not have much luck with them, but maybe I did not try hard enough. Is almost never this calm so I just got luccky that day!
