Default my bottom reel

Guys, I took this pictures to show a board member what I have for a setup. They were on my PC and thought to share with all.

Looks like a "boss" motor on that unit. I have a Tiger Reel which is similar to that, but probably not as powerful. I usually use my Kristal 651 though, because it is easier to use, more quiet, and has more line on it.
Nice rig Deep!

I have 3 of the same reels. Each one hols about 1800 feet of 200 pound dacron. I fish the 3 reels at the same time with this setup. I basically drop, tie the line to a buoy and then remove the reel. There is a tiny hole on the side of the reel. I tie another buoy to the reel and (line coming off the reel) so that the reel will not continue to release more line, then I toss all of it overboard. Now I go do the same thing on two more waypoints. I leave it down for about 20-30 minutes, pick them up, put it on the reel and wind it up. Its a lot easier than fishing from a rod since you dont have to worry about position keeping.

What Did You Mean ? 3 Reels Or 3 Spools.....cause I Have Same Reel But My Spool Holds 3 Lines , 1200 Ft Each. I Always Go Same Depht , So I Dot Worry To Keep Rigs On The Bottom.using 5 Lbs Lead.

How Is The Current In Pr?......and How Much Weigth Are You Using? Cause Here Mostly Of The Times Are Killing Us.

I meant 3 spools!! I have 3 different ones. One is the stock poly that comes with the reel and then I made two aluminum ones. The current in PR varies so it could be really slow or very very strong, we get both..

Im using 8 pound weights. Sometimes I have to put two of those together (16) to go way down in stronger current. The reel does not even feel the weights, (strong motor).

My weights are homemade galvanized pipes filled with concrete. I welded a loop on one of the ends. Made different sizes. I hold them to the main line with 40 lb test mono. If it gets caught on the bottom, I just pull and it breaks off...
