A great friend let me use his 621 this last July for my trip over to the Bahamas in the new Grady. Deep drop was on fire!!! I would like to buy one. Where is the most reasonable place? Palm Beach? or South east Florida. Thanks in advance for the input!

I looked at that model and she does not have the pulling power that the 621 has. And I tell ya that I originaly thought that the 621 sounded weak when we retreived yellow eye from 700'. I'm thinking if I want to chase the big snowy next summer I better have a 651. Just my 2 cents! If anything I wiould settle for a 621. Thanks for the input!!

Not sure about the Snowies in 2800 feet, but I have pulled an 81lb. Wreck fish and several 30 to 50 lb Wreckfish from 2,000 - 2,200 feet with a XL651. 9lbs of wieght takes approx. 7 minutes to hit bottom. and 20 minutes to retrieve with fish on. NOTE: the 651 would over heat or something everytime several times before the fish was up. first few times we tried fuses only to find they were not blown then we realized it had to cool down later we hosed it down with the wash down and it would retrieve all the way up without shutting down.
