Default Kristal Xl001

Hi,
I am trying to get some feedback on Kristal's XL001 reel. Has anyone out there used one? I used to have a lindgren pitman basic setup but sold it after hurrican floyd wiped me out. Is this motor comprable? any help would be appreciated. Great site with lots of info, i hope to add to it.

Default Kristal 001

A friend of mine own a 001 and hasn't had any problems with it. The 003 has a lot more power. I would advise that you get the larger spool for either model. The bigger reel will get you a faster retrieve. These Kristal's are also good because you can swap spools anytime.
Good Luck!
