Default Deep Drop Pro rig

Does anyone out there own or has used a Deep Drop Pro rig. I am interested in what you think of the rig/setup? It has a Kristal XL001 reel, any feedback would be appreciated.

WE HAVE HAD DEEP DROP PRO FOR 3 YEARS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. WE HAVE PUSHED THE DRAG TO OVER 50 LBS, WITH 180 LB SPECTRA.

Default Deep drop Pro

I got the XL001 last year for Christmas I love it. Its as stong as an ox.
I fish out of Jupiter and St.lucie alot, we sometimes use the reel wreck fishing for big cobia. I have caught big Jewfish on it that weigh about 300# has no problem with them. Just Let The Reel Do Its Job. The Design of the swivel base is awsome, it works very well. I would give the unit an a++++.

Tight Lines To All,
Kyle

Thank's, I am finding out that this reel while basic is a workhorse. I am very pleased with it. I do not have a bunch of cash to spend and made the right choice for once. Some of my buddy's have spent far more and they really did not get much more of a reel. The flash and dohickies really don't help you catch the fish.
