We took a friend of ours out who had never been deep dropping let alone way out deep sea fishing of any sort. The girls did pretty good on the queens and I did really good on the sharks or they did good on me. Couldn't get a fish past them to save my life.
This brought up a question I was talking with the guys about. The girls never got sharked once on the way up and were using braid, I on the other hand got sharked every single time except once and was using a wire line. Do you guys think there is any relation to using wire and getting sharked all the time? Anyways here's a couple of pics. Erika first time out with some of here nice queens. Some of the queens. Getting sharked. Getting sharked again. Eric |

Definately think that the wire transmits some sort of current into the water that the sharks can sense. Maybe it draws their attention, then they see the fish. I've been sharked plenty of times on braid too, so don't feel bad. Could just be luck of the draw.

Pretty work captain...I wish we had some nice queens like those down here in Key West...well actually we do but not the catching kind...Dont know what to say about the sharks. And come to think about it I have never had a shark or even seen a shark deep droping down here. Keep up the good work and catch em up
