Default Kristal XL 621

I am just starting on Deep dropping and had a question about a kristal xl621 24V? How is that reel compared to others for first timers? Have a buddy looking at selling a pair as he is retiring from deep dropping and off to other species??

They are 24V reels he has any issue using those how would I connect those with the plugs to batteries? Is there any special inverter I need for 24V plugs?? He looking to get a $1,000 for the pair? Is that a good deal??

thanks..

there is no 'correct' plug system, you can use just about anything so long as you keep track of pos & neg, keep it all dry and make sure you use heavy enough gauge wire

there are a number of posts on this subject already

I personally, as do most guys in Nassau, use regular household socket and plugs, albiet the outdoor versions. This is because the fancy marine ones are hard to find here. All outlets on my boat are well placed, dry and I have never had a problem.

Why not ask your buddy and see the wiring first hand?

Any plug will work a long as you have both the female and male ends, they more waterproof the better.
