Fluke Fishing: PROHIBITED!!!

This will be a reality in the very near future if we don't act now.

This isn't just a Jersey thing either, it's a federal closure of ALL fluke fishing. Recreational, Commercial, all of it, DONE.

The enviros are after the most popular fishery on the east coast. Party boats, Charter boats, Bait and Tackles, Skiff rentals are in jeopardy. How many can survive a total closure of the fluke fishery? Right now it's the fluke, but where will it stop?

I urge you to check out Save The Summer Flounder Fishery Fund to learn more and hopefully act, spread the word and prevent this from happening. From what I gathered at the meeting recently, '09 may be lost, so do something.

Yep it is scary thing.We need to keep up the fight on this one.There are more fluke then ever out there.That is what all the scientist say.But because of the way they set the biomass rebuild number it is all messed up.

This is all based on someone's IDEOLOGY.

We must get the Magnuson act changed.
