Angry Panhandle Cobia

Fishing sucks. It's the second half of April and the flatheads should be pouring in by now. They're not. On Friday afternoon there were a good number of fish seen and caught, but it was only during a short window. One of my friends went 7/11 to highline for the day. Those who came in earlier went lesbian fishing. This weekend is the Outcast tournament, with lots of boats out hunting, and there were a lot of "0/0" or "0/2" reports. The fish just aren't there, and it's been a steady decline for the last decade and a half. Even with fewer boats out this year, due to fuel prices, the fish aren't around. Maybe a few dozen will show up next week, but the trend is still bad.
