Default Fishing permit

Has anyone read your bahamian fishing permit? I recently posted a story about a friend of mine being harassed in the Abacos. I finally spoke with him yesturday, and he told me to read my fishing permit. It does read 20lbs of bottom fish, 6 lobster, 10 conch, and 6 pelagics...PER PERSON on your vessel at any time. I guess it reads the old laws.

He has a court date in September. I am anxiously awaiting to hear the outcome.

My permit was from June 4th 2007.

that's pretty funny stuff, so long as he had fish under the limits printed on teh permit then any lawyer worth his salt should have a pretty easy time getting him off.

same story as of end of last week, its ready to be signed. I heard the Ministry of Agriculture has the pen this month so could be a few more weeks before it makes its way back to the PM's office.

That damn pen is probably going to run out of ink or dry up before it finds it's way back to his office!
