Default Bahamas Swordfish

Has anyone actually caught a swordfish in the Bahamas anywhere OTHER than in the gulf stream off Bimini/Cat cay?

There are a couple of us trying like crazy to do it off Nassau with no result so far, any anecdotal stories would be a big help. Thanks.

We have tried it a couple times off of Grand Bahama. Set up with a nice spread but I think we just have not been putting in the time and perhaps not in the right location. (Tried a drift in about 1200 feet)

I would have picked Freeport as a good place to try. I'd be curious to hear if you try again. I was scheduled to try this week but the wind is supposed to pick up again.

North of Bimini was where one well known long-liner many years ago would work-- the other area that I am sure is productive is The Fingers off of Walkers...

Interesting, I would have thought that the tongue of the ocean would be plenty productive.
