You have a lot of choices. For the tuna bite run south at sun up and look for the birds and such.Keep going down to Isacs and the hens area for some bottom action.Get inside around 60ft patch reefs and pick the tails. The mutton will be around 80 to 100ft a little east of the light look around you will find them.If you run to the north you can fish tuna along the bank but you know that Hit the nice bottom a little north of memory for some monster tails. If you fish at night get on the hook on nice bottom around 60ft or so and put some live tails on the bottom last year we crushed the cubara snapper there.Do not try to fish anything less than 50lb and would stick to 80lb.We got cubera up to 100lb last yr and they pull very hard.Good luck and have a blast.

QQ,
Thanks.
This is our first trip into Lucaya.

Report:

Mucho yellow tail - some with good size, most in the one to two lb range. Dolphin bite was on. No tuna for us.

Deep Drop was cool, first time i used my new 12v LP -- what a machine! first drop RT landed a 50lb Aj. We hooked up with a local guy, Mosses, and put us on some spectacular deep drop spots off the Great Issac -- we had a blast pulling up yellow eye and fending off the sharks on light takle as a deversion.

Surgery at sea: one of our guys, Bossuk, hooked his hand on a nice size jig. the barb was implanted deep into the fat of his hand and we decieded that the best thing to do was continue on vs yanking it out through the point of entry . He slugged a bunch of rum, numbed his hand with garlic and ice. We snatched him from behind, held his hand down and splayed the mate on table and went to work. He was screaming and trying to break away, I was about to gag him with a fish rag but it was out of reach. we tossed ice water on him and held him steady. It was all we could do to hold him down.

A clip of the hook, a smooth push on the shaft and a clean exit! rinsed thouroughly with salt water and sealed him with electrical tape -- we got the job done and he was good to go.

That is a tough one.I am not sure about a secure place any were up there I would not leave anything overnight at Phil foster thats the ramp just North of sailfish by the bridge.I would go to Bert Winters ramp or Juno park ramp to leave a truck and trailer over night. They are 30min from the inlet but much safer.I am not sure about leaving things there overnight.Make a call to the palm beach county parks and rec and ask them for suggestions.Sorry I could not help more.Good luck and have a safe trip.If you do not mind leaving out of Boynton I know you can leave your stuff at that ramp without to much problems and it is legal.
