a great flukin time

I fished on buddy's boat on friday 6/22/07 out of Sandy Hook. Headed south and a few drops on the rocks produced a few fish and some snags. Headed down twords Long Branch and fished in front of the old Hilton hotel. We fished the same drift over a small 3' hump, from 40' to 37'. We wound up with 20 keepers up to 25", 40 - 50 shorts, 5 really nice black Sea Bass (didn't keep track of the shorts), a few dogs and only 1 skate, all between 9 and noon. It seemed like there was always a rod bent. Tried trolling for stripers but no good, way to crowded on the rocks.
