Default Tilefish, Dolphin, Snowie & Big Seabass Off Stuart

I took three 100FFC clubmembers out fishing on my TurdVee on Sunday; Grouper Girl, Miamah Angler and our newest member The Wade Fisherman.

We had a slow pick of big seabass and one Snowie at one place and then went out to the local Tiley Town and got our limit of Golden Tilefish, including one 12 pounder. We also got a 26 lb bull dolphin out in the deep.

here's Willi/ Miamah Angler fighting his first Black Seabass ever.

here's Willi with his first seabass.

For a more complete report with 14 more pics, go onto the club's Bottomfishing section.

Richard, as long as you don't show up wearing those Godawful white Grundens of yours, you're welcome to go slumming on the TurdVee anytime.

Richard was a "Good Humor Man" in his previous life. The white suit is part previous life and part of the addiction we all suffer from. Smile Richard - you know I joke.

Mark

What color Grundens do you prefer on the Turd Vee?

If I wear my white Grundens and we catch fish they'd be red....

Since my POS is already a shitmagnet for FWC and the Coasties, anyone wearing Grundens of any color on the TurdVee is just going to attract their attentions even more. "Let's go git that commercial feller sneakin' back from the Bahamas!" So that's why no bibs or seaboots on the Turd.

Here's what I usually wear, even in the winter. A bathing suit, tattered bloodstained shorts over that, a bloodspattered Columbia guide shirt, my lucky Conchy Joe's fishing hat and Teva boatsole sandals. I also carry along a lightweight foulweather jacket in case it rains. If the air is colder than my ex-girlfriend's heart, I make a concession and wear bloodstained jeans over my bathing suit. That's it.

Didn't I warn you that fishing on my boat is slumming?

Disco - using white is a good idea. No scuff marks on the deck. Since I don't care about my boat's deck I could dip a just a few white leads in case I needed "guest weights" when I go non-slumming on Poolman's boat. Where are you & Willi getting that dipping material?
