Default daytona beach

I am new to Daytona (just moved up from south FL), and looking to do some reef fishing in the area around Ponce inlet. Preferably within 10 or so miles from the inlet (gas prices encourage me to fish close to home!). I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction. Thanks!!!

Mike

Welcome to central Fla.Well you have come to one area of Fl. that has a ton of artificial reefs. There are a number of charts for sale in the area .West and Boaters world come to mind. The Greater Daytona Beach sport fishing assocition sponsers the reef program there and there is a tournament coming up in May.

awesome....i am from stuart, fl, and we have considerably less bottom fishing there. i have heard that it is really good around here, and since the gulf stream is so far out, it is a great alternative to running 20 miles out! thanks for the info!

I fish out of both the Cape and Daytona, Good inshore and offshore,I run a Mako210 and I'm looking to share rides. Hell with gas going to $4.00 /gal in 3months and $5.00 by next year, Got to find people that want to fish not just B.S. If interested send me a personal e-mail .Thanks Jeff
