Got out around 7 and it was a little sloppy. NOAA was wrong
I know...big surprise right. Went out anyway, and hoped for calmer seas in the afternoon. After a couple of hours we had enough bait for some monster hunting.Headed to deeper water through the chop"3-5". Started pullin short gags at first, then made some bait and tackle changes. It worked...within 10 minutes I put a 40 inch gag on the deck.Moved around some more, and found a big school of genuines, with a lot of shorties. Managed to put 2 keepers in the box, and a 26 inch red grouper.Moved again and boated a 24 inch scamp. Last stop got us a battle with a 55 inch reef donkey and another 40 inch gag. And of course by then the seas calmed down...at the end of the day. Just in time to head in, and daydream about the next trip. Hmmm, maybe saturday I finally figured out this photo thing, so here tis.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it either. Had a dock party that I couldn't wiggle out of. Could have gone if there were more wif-n-kids at that meeting.

and a SCAMP . Maybe I can break free this weekend if your going......let me know. Just out of curiousity, what was the bait of choice??DF2---OUT
