Default Merc. OFFSHORE 4-Blade Stainless Prop.

Anyone interested in a nearly-new SS 4-Blade Merc. OFFSHORE prop?

This is a 19" Pitch 3.0 liter gearcase sized propeller (p/n: 48-825900A45-19P). I used a 17" pitch on my last boat, a 24' Wahoo CC with a 250 EFI, and this prop. design was absolutely tremendous at carrying a load at cruise speed and holding onto the ocean when running in a sea. Very good Stern-Lifting characteristics which are particularly important for offshore "blue-water" outboard powered single or twin engine rigs.

The boat came with this 19" P but I down-pitched to a 17" within the first 30 hrs. of engine-time to make 5800 RPM "light" and hung onto this one as a spare.

Not one nick or even any "sand-blasting" on any of the blades. Leading edges feel smooth and highly-polished. I just need to wash the cobwebs off it.

New it is sold as a Vensura. lists for $619.00. Can be bought from a discount parts house or Prop' seller for about $500.00 new. I will sell for $400.00 and no tax plus $15.00 to ship (it's heavy). It comes with the bronze Merc. splined hub and plastic insert.

I live in Stuart, FL if it would be preferred to pick-up. I must be at boat show in Ft. Lauderdale for 5 days starting Thursday the 26th (I'm in the marine electronics business) but you can e.mail me at delanyachts@aol.com

Let me know and I will try to contact you back in the evenings when I get back to hotel.

Thanks,

Steve

Price Reduced!

I guess you guys are giving me a hint with 39 "viewings" and no takers.

$400.00 is a prety strong price, but this prop is in EXCELLENT / Mint condition (after I clean it with Windex) and does cost At Leat $100.00 more new. Give me some reasonable offers up in that "area" and maybe we can make a deal.

Thanks,

Steve

PS: It will go to a good cause....I need funds for the $3,000.00+ Swordfish "Starter kit" (3 rods, 3 reels, lights, harness, harpoon, etc., etc., etc.)

Oh my God,

81 Looks and no takers...Ugh!!!

What do you guys think this prop is worth? It really is a beauty and the perfect screw for about a 22-23 FT. Blue-Water Cntr. Cnsl. with a single 225-250 or about a 26-28 ftr. in the 7000 lb. range with twin 225's.

Let me know...

Steve

I think the problem is that no one needs that prop.

Also, I've looked at this thread 3 or 4 times just to see the new posts.

Yeah Dakotah,

I think you're right. It was worth a shot at getting some sword-gear cash together anyways.

Take care
