The boat is insane they are made in Louisiana, a couple of the charter captains in Venice will be rockin them in the near future, they helped with the design as well.

Sweet machine. I don't see much storage though.

Do you know off hand if they will have any in South Florida in the near future?

No....I wish....I would design a 30' that is capable of traveling by oars so that I can afford gas

Mike (Relentless) just bought the pictured boat, going up to check it out lump season. Jr. there is crazy strorage in the back, Mike has already fished the boat.

I can give a little more insight into the boat. The boat was built from the ground up to be a charter boat. This is a coonass version of a Conch 27. I have ridden and fished this boat for a week and tried my best to break it. Me and the other captains I work with could not make it groan or creak. I have fished or have ridden on all of the other major boats out there and they are all very nice but the Freeman 33 is in a class by itself. Yes they will take a little longer to get them but they are done one at a time. And are built to your specs 100%. Hull number two will have a little better setup than mine more in deck storage. But as it sits there is plenty of storage for me. The speed and range on the boat is awsome at 38-40 I was getting right at two miles per gallon. And this is with a charter load, 5 guys,700lbs ice,80 gallons livewell, tackle,300 gallons of fuel. I know the boat is not as fast as some of the boats that you commonly see on the east coast of Florida. But when you make 75-100nm one way runs at least 200 days a year this boat is the real deal. I would think that as a island boat you can't beat it or a killer swordfish boat. Billy Freeman the owner of the company will reimburse the full price of a charter on it if after the trip you like it and want to buy one.

Yea that's the million dollar question how much is this boat going to go for because if we are looking at 200 or 300K than we have a whole new ball game on our hands..

The boat should retail out fully loaded in the upper 100's to very very low 200's. It just depends on what you want. They are in line with what the going price is for a compareable size boat. I would think that for a pure swordfish killing boat, I would like to have the coffin box extend up to and on top of the forward casting deck just basicaly make it longer. And I would want a side door on it to pull the fish through easier. And add a few underwater lights in the hull. Speaking of underwater lights does anyone have any inside info on which brands are good and most important of all who has the hookup on buying them. We put alot of years of fishing thought into the boat so it is in my opinion as good as they come. Like I said it is a coonass conch. We could call it the crawfish 33.

Underwater lights? Best bang for the buck is Abyss Lights but they are surface mount. If you want thru hull, they don't make them. Then again, I did not want 3 large holes in my boat and didn't want to spend $1000+ per light. They only have 3 models and they range from $169 - $330 according to the website. I got the $330 ones in blue. Boat is still being built or I would show you a picture. They are purchased, just not installed yet. Their website is Underwater LED Lights by Abyss Technology

Nice boat, I have been reading the threads about it.
